6:58 min Speaking at the 2012 Changing Times; Inspiring Libraries Summit in Vancouver BC, Assistant Professor at the iSchool of UBC Luanne Freund believes that we need to cultivate our entrepreneurial leaders. A study conducted in the spring of 2010 and looking at 6 LIS programs found that less than 30 % of LIS students saw themselves as leaders, innovators or executives. She feels that LIS curriculum should focus more on entrepreneurial leadership and hopes that the Summit will address this issue.
